The end of September has arrived and boy, there have been plenty of recent developments worth mentioning to you all. First and foremost, another long month of teaching has ended. I started a new semester and my little kindergartners, bless their hearts, are so cute. It was Moon Festival here in Taiwan and we had a nice work barbecue, as well as a little three day weekend to relax and take time off from classes.
Other than that, I’ve worked on my writing a fair bit. I’m just about finished with my third manuscript this year, but it’ll need a fair bit of editing to be anything worth sharing with all of you yet. But, most importantly, I have a big announcement to share coming up in a little over a month…
On Halloween, I will be releasing my first book, titled Homecoming from a planned YA fiction series. The story revolves around a fifteen-year-old girl named Arie Trescott, who lives in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin is part of a family of werewolves. To read the prologue to that novel, you can click here. To snag a copy early on pre-order, click here! I currently have two more novels surrounding the same characters in the process of editing. You’ll likely see those in 2019, so don’t fret!
To finally be able to publish this book is a dream come true, and I’m beyond excited to share Arie’s story with you. I hope you all find it as fun and interesting as I had writing it! If you’d like to keep up to date with all things related to the book and what’s going on with me on this side of the world, sign up for my email list! Until then, I’ll release more information as the release date draws nearer and nearer. Don’t forget to put it on your calendars! Halloween 2018: Arie and her family arrive, just in time for some haunted tales to indulge in this autumn.
